Other Minds Focus Group

People’s ability to think about other human beings, interpret the meaning of their actions, and reason about the motivations underlying them has been variously called their "theory of mind," "folk psychology," or "common-sense psychology." Several members of the Institute explore research questions surrounding this fundamental human ability and its relationship to language, imagination, and social interaction. Though there are no regular meetings at this time, you may contact Bertram Malle if you are interested in starting up such meetings.
